I've always been a big fan of horror novels. Using Bookshare I stumbled on Richard Laymon and was hooked immediately. From what I've heard he isn't well known in the US but more overseas. I just wondered if anyone else has had the pleasure of reading Laymon?

No. Never heard of him.

Could you tell us more about him, what you like, what's unique about his writing? etc. etc.

Thanks.
Bob

Wow! I've read several of Laymon's books, and the ones i've read are excellent. they're kind of herd to fine; he's not so well-known in the US; the first book of his that i read was Resurrection Dreams which i stumbeled across while browsing the horror category on bookshare. but i read that and from there I was hooked. he's one of my favorite authors.

I stumbled upon him using bookshare also. I know what you mean about him being hard to find. I even went to the local Barns N Noble and they only had three of his books. It's a shame because he's a great writer. A lot better than most horror out there, in my oppinion.

Sounds cool. I'll definitely have to check him out.
